Procedures in Case of a Claim
To enable a smooth handling of your claim we ask you to take the following actions in case of an accident:
i. Try to limit the extent of the damage
ii. Document the accident e.g. by taking photographs
iii. Collect contact information of witnesses and other persons involved in the accident
iv. Report the accident to the appropriate National Accident Investigation Board, which depends on the registration of your aircraft and where the accident occurred.
v. Report burglary, theft, malicious damage and arson to the police
vi. Follow the instructions from the Accident Investigation Board
vii. Contact a hospital or a medical doctor in case of personal injury
Please note that the Accident Investigation Board must approve the release of the crashed aircraft before it can be removed or otherwise touched. To salvage the aircraft safely, a licensed mechanic must assist during the salvage operation.

Reporting a Claim
If you suffer an injury to yourself or accidental damage to your aircraft – or if someone addresses a claim against you, please submit a claims report to us.
When reporting the claim to us, please use the following Occurrence and Claims Report.
When submitting the claims report, please attach a copy of the Airworthiness certificate for the aircraft, your pilot license and your valid medical license.
National Aviation Safety Boards
You must always report an accident or a serious incident to the National Aviation Safety Board in the country where the accident occurred or in the country where the aircraft is registered. The links below may be of assistance.
